Touch of Home Support 4R Deployed Military, Inc. is a non-profit corporation that provides support for United States Military personnel deployed overseas. They currently serve thousands of deployed personnel in Iraq.
With all the packages, supplies, and support they provide on a daily basis to U.S. Troops, the one item they didn't have was a web site.
We wanted the top of the page (it's called the "header' for you non-web professionals) to tell a story. And of course, what would a military support web site be without the American flag and the bold blue background around the edges?
A two-column fixed, centered design was used and is controlled completely by XHTML 1.1 and CSS technology. All pages are automatically printer-friendly with no need to obtain a 'Printer-Friendly Version'. The entire web site was developed using the Microsoft .NET framework and utilizes the latest in page speed optimization.
This web site is an example of our basic web site package. Clean, simple, and easy-to-use.
Our hearts go out to each and every one of the brave young soldiers currently over in Iraq, particularly the Forward Support Military. May you all return home safe and sound as soon as possible!
